Hard Copy: Valiant in Baltimore This Weekend…And a Preview of Next Week’s X-O #5 and Harbinger #4

If you are in Baltimore this weekend you should venture down to the Baltimore Comic Con and see our friends at Valiant. In the meantime you can check out some previews for next week’s releases from Valiant Publishing.

First up is X-O Manowar #5 – the first issue of X-O’s second arc, featuring the long-awaited first appearance of Ninjak in the new Valiant Universe! Veteran penciler Lee Garbett (Batman RIP, Amazing Spider-Man) is taking over for Cary Nord on this arc, and the X-O armor is in fine hands. There’s a reason why this issue is rocketing up the charts! And just wait until you see what we have in the works for X-O Manowar this winter…

Then, we have Harbinger #4 – the pentultimate issue of “Omega Rising,” the book’sĀ inagural arc. More importantly, this issue also contains the first full-length appearance of Faith “Zephyr” Herbert – a character we have big plans for and one that will soon play a pivotal role in the future of the Valiant Universe.

Both X-O #5 and Harbinger #4 go on sale next Wednesday, September 12th. There is no embargo on reviews, so give them a read and post at will.

Lastly, I would just like to extend an invitation on behalf of Valiant to any members of the press who will at the Baltimore Comic-Con this weekend. We will be making some HUGE announcements at the “Future of Valiant” panel on Saturday at 2 pm, so, if you’re in the house, trust me, you will not want to miss this.

Also, every Valiant writer and most of our editorial staff will be attendance at the show this weekend. If there is anyone you would like to interview or chat up, please send me your request in writing and I will do my best to accomodate you. And, even if you’re just there to enjoy the show, please drop by our booth (#1505/1506) to say hello! I’ll be there all weekend and I’m just as charming in person.
