Last week we attended Toy Fair 2014 in New York City. As a big kid Toy Fair\"IMG_6379\"<\/a><\/span> is one of my favorite events of the year. Not only do I get to see my friends from the various companies I get to see the toys that are coming out in the upcoming year\u2026and some that don\u2019t make the cut. Although it is fun to see the big boys like Hasbro and Mattel, I really love stopping by the Diamond Select booth.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aside from the fact that I get to see Zach, I also get to see some amazing toys that are being released. This year I fell in love with the Trek Tech Star Trek III phaser. This is the first time there has been a toy of this beauty. Now instead of having to purchase a resin version that shatters when you drop it (I speak from experience) you can equip your landing party without worry. This should be out sometime late fall\/early winter. I can\u2019t wait!<\/span><\/p>\n

Something else that I can\u2019t wait for are the Marvel Select figures for Captain America: Winter Soldier. As always Diamond has created some beautiful figures with tons of poseability.\u00a0 Both the Captain America figure and the Falcon figure will go great with the Winter Soldier that is currently available at your local Disney Store (get them before they are gone).<\/span><\/p>\n
