Jackson.\u00a0 In ROB<\/em><\/strong>OCOP<\/strong>, <\/em>the year is 2028 and OmniCorp \u2013 the world\u2019s leader in robot technology \u2013 sees a golden opportunity to reap billions for their company.\u00a0 When Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) \u2013 a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit \u2013 is critically injured, OmniCorp grabs their chance to build a part-man, part-robot police officer.\u00a0 OmniCorp envisions a RoboCop in every city and will stop at nothing \u2013 no matter the cost to Alex \u2013 to make sure the program succeeds.\u00a0 But OmniCorp never counted on one thing: there is still a man fighting inside the machine.\u00a0 The film is written by Joshua Zetumer and Edward Neumeier & Michael Miner, and produced by Marc Abraham and Eric Newman.\u00a0 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures and Columbia Pictures\u2019 released ROBOCOP <\/b><\/i>theatrically on February 12, 2014.<\/p>\n
