The first instalment of Fargo features an all-new \u201ctrue crime\u201d story and follows a new case and new characters, all entrenched in the trademark humor, murder and \u201cMinnesota nice\u201d that made the film an enduring classic. Oscar\u00ae winner Billy Bob Thornton stars as \u201cLorne Malvo,\u201d a rootless, manipulative man who meets and forever changes the life of small town insurance salesman \u201cLester Nygaard,\u201d played by BAFTA Award\u00ae winner and Emmy\u00ae-nominated Martin Freeman. Colin Hanks plays Duluth Police Deputy \u201cGus Grimly,\u201d a single dad who must choose between his own personal safety and his duty as a policeman when he comes face-to-face with a killer. Allison Tolman also stars as \u201cMolly Solverson,\u201d an ambitious Bemidji deputy. Fargo is written by Noah Hawley. Hawley, Warren Littlefield, Joel & Ethan Coen and Geyer Kosinski serve as executive producers. <\/span><\/p>\n
