On Thursday, January 15th, 2009, the world witnessed the \u201cMiracle on the Hudson\u201d when Captain Chesley Sullenberger glided his disabled plane onto the frigid waters of the Hudson River, saving the lives of all 155 aboard. However, even as Sully was being heralded by the public and the media for his unprecedented feat of aviation skill, an investigation was unfolding that threatened to destroy his reputation and his career.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSully\u201d also stars Aaron Eckhart (\u201cOlympus Has Fallen,\u201d \u201cThe Dark Knight\u201d) as co-pilot, Jeff Skiles, and Oscar nominee Laura Linney (\u201cThe Savages,\u201d \u201cKinsey,\u201d Showtime\u2019s \u201cThe Big C\u201d) as Sully\u2019s wife, Lorraine Sullenberger.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Eastwood directed the film from a screenplay by Todd Komarnicki, based on the book Highest Duty by Sullenberger and Jeffrey Zaslow. The project was produced by Eastwood, Frank Marshall, Allyn Stewart and Tim Moore, with Kipp Nelson and Bruce Berman serving as executive producers.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSully\u201d will be available on Ultra HD Blu-ray for $44.95 and Blu-ray Combo Pack for $35.99.\u00a0 The Ultra HD Blu-ray features an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc with the film in 4K with HDR and a Blu-ray disc with the\u00a0film in hi-definition.\u00a0 The Blu-ray Combo Pack features the\u00a0film in hi-definition on Blu-ray; and the 2-disc Special Edition DVD features the film in standard definition.\u00a0All Blu-ray products include a digital version of the movie in Digital HD with UltraViolet.* Fans can also own\u00a0\u201cSully\u201d via purchase from digital retailers beginning on December 6.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
