Benedict Wong is set for the role of \u201cMaster Lin,\u201d the headmaster of the School for the Deadly Arts. Deadly and feared. He’s an ever-changing chameleon who keeps his students desperate for his approval. British actor Wong is best known for his roles in \u201cDr. Strange,\u201d \u201cThe Martian,\u201d and recently starred in “Marco Polo.” Recent television credits include “Black Mirror: Hated In The Nation,\u201d \u201cElectric Dreams” and “Blade Runner: Nexus Dawn.” Next year Wong will star in \u201cAvengers: Infinity War\u201d and Alex Garland\u2019s \u201cAnnihilation.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Benjamin Wadsworth will play \u201cMarcus.\u201d At one point we were all Marcus, an awkward outcast full of social anxiety struggling to find his place in the cold and brutal world of high school. Marcus is bottled rage, if his life had been normal this kid might have been an artist, even a poet. Instead he\u2019s had to survive life on the streets of San Francisco. His eyes show it. He\u2019s morally centered in an unethical world. Wadsworth was last seen in the hit series finale episode of \u201cTeen Wolf.\u201d Just last year he played the leading role of \u201cHenry\u201d in the TV pilot adaptation of the feature film, \u201cLet The Right One In.\u201d Wadsworth is from Houston, Texas.<\/p>\n

Lana Condor will play the role of \u201cSaya,\u201d mysterious and guarded with a deadly reputation. Saya was banished from one of the top Yakuza clans in Japan, sent to the School for the Deadly Arts to redeem herself. Driven to be the valedictorian, nothing will stand in her way. In 2016, Condor made her feature film debut in \u201cX-Men: Apocalypse.\u201d In 2017, Condor appeared in \u201cPatriot\u2019s Day\u201d alongside Mark Wahlberg and as \u201cAllison\u201d in James Franco\u2019s \u201cHigh School Lover.\u201d She can next be seen as \u201cKoyomi\u201d in James Cameron\u2019s highly anticipated film, \u201cAlita: Battle Angel\u201d out in 2018.<\/p>\n

Maria Gabriela de Faria is set for the role of \u201cMaria.\u201d One minute Maria\u2019s an extrovert and an exhibitionist, a tornado of ever changing emotions\u2014fierce, charming, beautiful and oozing femininity — the next she\u2019s murderous, feral, and crippled by rage. At the School for the Deadly Arts her instability is treated like a super power. De Faria most recently starred as \u201cFranky\u201d in the Latin America hit series \u201cYo Soy Franky\u201d and will soon be seen in the starring role of \u201cZaita\u201d in season two of acclaimed period drama \u201cSitiados.\u201d De Faria has been nominated for eleven Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, winning seven assorted \u201cFavorite Actress\u201d, \u201cFavorite Villain\u201d and \u201cFavorite Character\u201d 2010 and 2016. She was nominated for \u201cFavorite Latin Star\u201d in the US Kid\u2019s Choice Awards tin 2016.<\/p>\n

Luke Tennie will play \u201cWillie,\u201d a hardened gangster, but underneath is an honest and thoughtful person who would rather be reading comic books and listening to music than engaging in blood work. Forced by his mother, leader of an LA gang, into the School for the Deadly Arts, he is under endless pressure to become the thing he hates most. The DEADLY CLASS pilot will be Tennie\u2019s first TV gig. He has two features coming out: Rob Reiner\u2019s film \u2018Shock and Awe\u2019 opposite Woody Harrelson and James Marsden; lead in indie film \u201cVengeance\u201d from director Dallas Jackson.<\/p>\n

Liam James is set to play \u201cBilly,\u201d skater punk, son of a corrupt cop and now a misfit at the school. He’s off kilter and high energy. Billy combats every situation with sarcasm and humor. Always a glimmer of mischief in his eye. James was most recently seen starring opposite Joan Allen in the series \u201cThe Family,\u201d created by Jenna Bans. Prior to that, he played the coveted lead role of \u201cDuncan\u201d in \u201cThe Way, Way Back,\u201d starring opposite Steve Carrell, Toni Collette, Sam Rockwell, and Allison Janney. James was also a cast member of critically acclaimed drama \u201cThe Killing\u201d playing opposite Mireille Enos as her son \u2018Jack.\u2019<\/p>\n

Michel Duval is set for the role of \u201cChico,\u201d scary, muscular, son of a cartel drug lord. Everyone knows not to mess with Chico. The only one who can hurt him is his girlfriend. Duval is a series regular in \u201cSe\u00f1ora Acero\u201d now in its fourth season. He starred in the TV Series \u201cUltimo A\u00f1o\u201d and played one of the lead roles in the Mexican version of \u201cGossip Girl.\u201d In theatre he participated in \u201cRomeo and Juliet\u201d and \u201cPericles,\u201d both productions premiered in NY. You can also see him in the second season of QUEEN OF THE SOUTH in a guest star role.<\/p>\n
