Pictures and Metro Goldwyn Mayer Pictures, \u201cTomb Raider\u201d is a story that sets young and resolute Lara Croft on a path toward becoming a global hero. <\/p>\n

\u201cTomb Raider\u201d stars Oscar winner Alicia Vikander (\u201cEx Machina,\u201d \u201cThe Danish Girl\u201d) in the lead role, under the direction of Roar Uthaug (\u201cThe Wave\u201d). Oscar winner Graham King (\u201cThe Departed\u201d) produced under his GK Films banner. The film also stars Dominic West (\u201cMoney Monster,\u201d \u201c300\u201d), Walton Goggins (\u201cThe Hateful Eight,\u201d \u201cDjango Unchained\u201d), Daniel Wu (TV\u2019s \u201cInto the Badlands\u201d) and Oscar nominee Kristin Scott Thomas (\u201cThe English Patient\u201d).<\/p>\n

Uthaug directed \u201cTomb Raider\u201d from a script by Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Alastair Siddons, with the story by Evan Daugherty and Robertson-Dworet. The executive producers are Patrick McCormick, Denis O\u2019Sullivan and Noah Hughes. The director\u2019s behind-the-scenes creative team included director of photography George Richmond (\u201cMission: Impossible \u2013 Rogue Nation\u201d), production designer Gary Freeman (\u201cMaleficent\u201d), Oscar-nominated editor Stuart Baird (\u201cSkyfall,\u201d \u201cGorillas in the Mist\u201d) and editor Michael Tronick (\u201cSuicide Squad\u201d), Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood (\u201cFantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them\u201d) and costume designer Timothy A. Wonsik (\u201cFree State of Jones,\u201d \u201cIron Man 3\u201d). The music is by Tom Holkenborg, aka Junkie XL (\u201cMad Max: Fury Road\u201d).<\/p>\n

\u201cTomb Raider\u201d will be available on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack for $44.95, 3D Blu-ray Combo Pack for $44.95, Blu-ray Combo Pack for $35.99 and DVD for $28.98. The 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack features an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc with the theatrical version in 4K with HDR, a Blu-ray disc featuring the theatrical version and a Digital version of the movie. The Blu-ray Combo Pack features a Blu-ray disc with the film and special features in hi-definition, a DVD with the film in standard definition and a Digital version of the movie.<\/p>\n

The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc of \u201cTomb Raider\u201d will feature Dolby VisionTM HDR that dramatically expands the color palette and contrast range and uses dynamic metadata to automatically optimize the picture for every screen, frame by frame.<\/p>\n

Also, the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D discs of \u201cTomb Raider\u201d will feature a Dolby Atmos\u00ae soundtrack remixed specifically for the home theater environment to place and move audio anywhere in the room, including overhead. To experience Dolby Atmos at home, a Dolby Atmos enabled AV receiver and additional speakers are required, or a Dolby Atmos enabled sound bar. Dolby Atmos soundtracks are also fully backward compatible with traditional audio configurations and legacy home entertainment equipment.<\/p>\n

Fans can also own \u201cTomb Raider\u201d via purchase from digital retailers beginning May 29.<\/p>\n
