They\u2019re taking control of Hell\u2019s Kitchen \"\"<\/a>when \u201cThe Kitchen\u201d arrives on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital. From New Line Cinema and BRON Creative come the gritty, female-driven mob drama \u201cThe Kitchen,\u201d written and directed by Andrea Berloff, who was nominated for an Oscar for Original Screenplay for \u201cStraight Outta Compton.\u201d Based on the Vertigo comic book series from DC Entertainment, the film stars Oscar nominee Melissa McCarthy (\u201cBridesmaids,\u201d \u201cTammy\u201d), Tiffany Haddish (\u201cGirls Trip,\u201d \u201cNight School\u201d) and Elisabeth Moss (TV\u2019s \u201cThe Handmaid\u2019s Tale,\u201d TV\u2019s \u201cMad Men\u201d) as three 1978 Hell\u2019s Kitchen housewives whose mobster husbands are sent to prison by the FBI. <\/p>\n

The film also stars Domhnall Gleeson (\u201cStar Wars: The Last Jedi,\u201d \u201cAbout Time\u201d), James Badge Dale (\u201cOnly the Brave,\u201d \u201c13 Hours\u201d), Brian d\u2019Arcy James (\u201cSpotlight,\u201d \u201cShrek The Musical\u201d), Margo Martindale (TV\u2019s \u201cThe Americans,\u201d \u201cAugust: Osage County\u201d), Oscar winner Common (\u201cSelma,\u201d \u201cMarshall\u201d), Bill Camp (\u201cVice,\u201d \u201cJason Bourne\u201d), with an ensemble cast including Jeremy Bobb (\u201cMarshall\u201d), E.J. Bonilla (TV\u2019s \u201cThe Long Road Home\u201d), Wayne Duvall (\u201cPrisoners\u201d), Annabella Sciorra (TV\u2019s \u201cDaredevil\u201d) and Myk Watford (TV\u2019s \u201cTrue Detective\u201d).<\/p>\n

Berloff\u2019s screenplay was based on the comic book series created for DC Vertigo by Ollie Masters and Ming Doyle. The film was produced by Michael De Luca and Marcus Viscidi. Serving as executive producers were Richard Brener, Michael Disco, Dave Neustadter, Aaron L. Gilbert, Jason Cloth, Elishia Holmes and Adam Schlagman.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Kitchen\u201d will be available on Blu-ray and DVD. The Blu-ray features a Blu-ray disc with the film and special features in hi-definition, and a Digital version of the movie. SYNOPSIS<\/p>\n

Between 8th Ave. and the Hudson River, the Irish mafia runs 20 blocks of a tough New York City neighborhood known as Hell’s Kitchen. But for mob wives Kathy (Melissa McCarthy), Ruby (Tiffany Haddish) and Claire (Elizabeth Moss), things are about to take a dramatic and radical turn. When the FBI sends their husbands to prison, the three women take business into their own hands by running the rackets and taking out the competition.<\/p>\n
