Evil resurfaces in Derry as director Andy Muschietti reunites the Losers Club in a return to where it all began with \u201cIT Chapter Two,\u201d the conclusion to the highest-grossing horror film of all time.<\/p>\n

The film is Muschietti\u2019s follow-up to 2017\u2019s critically acclaimed and massive global box office hit \u201cIT,\u201d which grossed more than $700 million worldwide. Both redefining and transcending the genre, \u201cIT\u201d became part of the cultural zeitgeist.<\/p>\n

\u201cIT Chapter Two\u201d stars James McAvoy (the \u201cX-Men\u201d movies, \u201cSplit,\u201d \u201cGlass\u201d) as Bill, Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain (\u201cZero Dark Thirty,\u201d \u201cMama,\u201d \u201cMolly\u2019s Game\u201d) as Beverly, Bill Hader (TV\u2019s \u201cBarry,\u201d \u201cThe Skeleton Twins\u201d) as Richie, Isaiah Mustafa (TV\u2019s \u201cShadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments\u201d) as Mike, Jay Ryan (TV\u2019s \u201cMary Kills People,\u201d TV\u2019s \u201cBeauty and the Beast\u201d) as Ben, James Ransone (TV\u2019s \u201cThe Wire,\u201d \u201cSinister\u201d) as Eddie and Andy Bean (\u201cSwamp Thing,\u201d \u201cAllegiant\u201d) as Stanley. Bill Skarsg\u00e5rd (\u201cDeadpool 2,\u201d \u201cAllegiant\u201d) returns in the seminal role of Pennywise.<\/p>\n

Muschietti directed \u201cIT Chapter Two\u201d from a screenplay by Gary Dauberman (\u201cIT,\u201d the \u201cAnnabelle\u201d films) based on the novel \u201cIT\u201d by Stephen King. Barbara Muschietti, Dan Lin and Roy Lee produced the film, with Richard Brener, Dave Neustadter, Dauberman, Marty Ewing, Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg serving as the executive producers.<\/p>\n

The behind-the-scenes creative team included director of photography Checco Varese (\u201cThe 33\u201d), Oscar-winning production designer Paul Denham Austerberry (\u201cThe Shape of Water\u201d), editor Jason Ballantine (\u201cIT,\u201d \u201cMad Max: Fury Road\u201d) and Oscar-nominated costume designer Luis Sequeira (\u201cThe Shape of Water,\u201d \u201cMama\u201d). The music is by Benjamin Wallfisch (\u201cShazam!,\u201d \u201cBlade Runner 2049,\u201d \u201cIT\u201d).<\/p>\n

The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc of \u201cIT Chapter Two\u201d will feature Dolby VisionTM HDR, which dramatically expands the color palette and contrast range, and uses dynamic metadata to automatically optimize the picture for every screen, frame by frame. It will also feature HDR10+TM, a new HDR technology that optimizes brightness levels and contrast for each scene, making bright areas brighter and dark areas darker to deliver a lifelike viewing experience.<\/p>\n

The Ultra HD Blu-ray disc of \u201cIT Chapter Two\u201d will feature a Dolby Atmos\u00ae soundtrack remixed specifically for the home theater environment to place and move audio anywhere in the room, including overhead. To experience Dolby Atmos at home, a Dolby Atmos enabled AV receiver and additional speakers are required, or a Dolby Atmos enabled sound bar. However, Dolby Atmos soundtracks are also fully backward compatible with traditional audio configurations and legacy home entertainment equipment.<\/p>\n

\u201cIT Chapter Two\u201d will also be available on Movies Anywhere. Using the free Movies Anywhere app and website, consumers can access all their eligible movies by connecting their Movies Anywhere account with their participating digital retailer accounts.<\/p>\n

SYNOPSIS<\/p>\n

Twenty-seven years after the Losers Club defeated Pennywise (Bill Skarsg\u00e5rd), he has returned to terrorize the town of Derry once more. Now adults, the Losers have long since gone their separate ways. However, people are disappearing again, so Mike (Isaiah Mustafa), the only one of the group to remain in their hometown, calls the others home. Damaged by the experiences of their past, they must each conquer their deepest fears to destroy Pennywise once and for all…putting them directly in the path of the shape-shifting clown that has become deadlier than ever.<\/p>\n
