Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of SQUARE ENIX\u00ae interactive entertainment products in\"\"<\/a> the Americas, today announces it has acquired the license for the award-winning puzzle game KooZac\u2122, and will soon be bringing a brand new smartphone and tablet version of the game to iOS\u00ae and Android\u00ae devices.<\/p>\n

Described by the BBC as \u201cthe ultimate in brain training\u201d and \u201cutterly addictive\u201d, KooZac is an immersive puzzle game devised by Ben Cusack which has racked up 15 million plays online and picked up a \u201cBest International Interactive Viral\u201d award. With the original concept created following years of research into what makes an evergreen puzzle game, Square Enix recently moved to acquire the KooZac license, and also hired Ben Cusack in the process to head up its expanding mobile division.<\/p>\n

The concept of KooZac is simple: position the falling blocks on top of each other to hit the target number and complete the set amount of combinations to finish each level.
