Volante Design produces genre wear that can be \"\"<\/a>(and should be) everyday wear. When I first saw their officially licensed Star Trek line I was absolutely blown away. While not exact copies of uniforms, their Trek line exemplified Starfleet style and could very well be what the well-dressed person in the 24th<\/sup> century would wear. Now the design masters at Volante Design have taken a trip to Middle Earth.<\/p>\n

According to the press release, \u201cWe\u2019ve always reinvented or reimagined or translated by capturing the spirit of a fandom, genre, or style and distilling down to its core. We can\u2019t do that with The Lord of the Rings. Tolkien left sketches and miles of notes on how he felt things looked, but every one of us who read his words would paint a different picture. We closed our eyes and stepped into a brand new Middle Earth, a Volante vision of it. We’re beginning our journey with our vision of the fearsome Nazgul, seen in the Ringwraith, and the noble warriors of Gondor, imagined in the Gondor Gambeson.\u201d<\/p>\n
