I am speaking of the classic 1966 version designed by George Barris for the Adam West television series. This original Batmobile began life as a 1955 Lincoln Futura concept car and went on to become something greater thanks to Barris. It has been said that you never forget your first which may be why I have always loved this iteration of the Batmobile. I know I will never have a real Batmobile under my tree, but thanks to the good folks at Hallmark I can have one hanging parked on a branch.

The classic Batmobile is an instantly identifiable pop culture icon that will look great on your Christmas tree, on your desk, or maybe even in your display cabinet. Painted black with red trim this scale model is a perfect recreation of the real vehicle. As I have said this before, these Hallmark ornaments are more like tiny sculptures than mere Christmas ornaments. The fact that the ornaments look so good means you aren’t limited to displaying them once a year. This is a truly beautiful ornament, but I would expect no less from Hallmark. The level of detail they put into their Keepsake ornaments is amazing. Every year I am impressed with the look and quality of the Keepsake Ornament line.

<dl the first time that Hallmark has made a classic Batmobile. Back in 2011 Hallmark produced a “magic” ornament that played the Neil Hefti theme. This newer offering is a more basic model. Measuring approximately 4.2″ W x 1.1″ H x 1.5″ D this Batmobile is highly detailed and features rolling wheels as well as the likeness of the caped crusader and his trusty sidekick Robin.

The Classic Batmobile 2020 Keepsake Ornament has a suggested retail is $29.99 and is available at your local Hallmark Gold Crown store or online at Hallmark.
