In celebration of Pride Month, SYFY \"\"<\/a>will be airing a murderer\u2019s row of \u201cChild\u2019s Play\u201d movies all day on Wednesday, June 9, starting at 8 a.m. ET. The marathon will call attention to the well-loved horror series\u2019 LGBTQ+ elements and serve up some summer scares at the same time.<\/p>\n

In his announcement of the marathon on Twitter, Mancini posted a SYFY-exclusive video in which he explains how the series has transformed over the years into a LGBTQ+-friendly space.<\/p>\n

\u201cStarting with \u2018Bride of Chucky,\u2019 I started to deliberately inject some LGBTQ elements into the franchise,\u201d he says. \u201cAs a gay guy, it\u2019s something that\u2019s increasingly important to me.\u201d<\/p>\n
