Motor City Comic Con, Michigan\u2019s longest\"\"<\/a> and largest comic and pop-culture event, is pleased to announce \u201cDoctor Who\u201d star Christopher Eccleston will attend this year\u2019s convention which is running May 13-15th<\/sup> at the Suburban Collection Showplace. Christopher Eccleston will be appearing for one day, Saturday, May 14th<\/sup> and available for autographs ($100) and professional photo ops by Pose Photos ($100). Eccleston adds to the recently announced guest appearance of William Shatner at the 2022 Motor City Comic Con. Christopher Eccleston is an English actor.  He portrayed the Ninth Doctor in the British television series, Doctor Who<\/i> and Matt Jamison in the American drama series, The Leftovers<\/i> on HBO. He also appeared on stage and in films such as Let Him Have It, Shallow Grave, Jude, Elizabeth, Gone In 60 Seconds, The Others, 28 Days Later, The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising, <\/i>and Thor: The Dark World. <\/i><\/p>\n

The Suburban Collection Showplace has over 371,000 square feet of exhibit floor creating room for con attendees\u2019 favorite events, including Cosplay Contest, After-Party and much more. Returning and new attractions, along with guest announcements will be announced leading up to the Comic Con.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

An added convenience feature for guests to avoid the long admission lines, will be RFID wristbands! RFID wristbands are available for purchase and mailed to homes for an additional $15 fee. Fans who purchase these RFID wristbands and have them mailed prior to the con will not have to wait in any lines before entering the convention and get a faster start to their Motor City Comic Con experience. This option allows guests to skip registration by simply putting on the wristband before entering the show.  <\/p>\n

The 2022 Motor City Comic Con will be held at the Suburban Collection Showplace which is located at 46100 Grand River Avenue in Novi, Michigan on Friday, May 13 (12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.), Saturday, May 14 (10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and Sunday, May 15 (10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
