Motor City Comic Con, Michigan\u2019s longest \"\"<\/a>and largest comic and pop-culture event, is pleased to announce actress Alicia Silverstone will attend this year\u2019s convention which is running May 13-15th at the Suburban Collection Showplace. Alicia Silverstone will be appearing for two days, Saturday, May 14th and Sunday, May 15th and available for autographs ($60) and professional photo ops by Pose Photos ($65). Silverstone adds to the recently announced guests including William Shatner, Christopher Eccleston, Brenton Thwaites, Carey Jones, Alan Ritchson, The Christopher Reeve Legacy Reunion including Aaron Smolinski, Marc McClure, Sarah Douglas, Jack O\u2019Halloran, Mark Pillow, Mariel Hemingway along with writers from Superman \u201978 DC Comic Series, Robert Venditti, Wilfredo Torres, and comic guests including David Walker, Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti, at the 2022 Motor City Comic Con. Alicia Silverstone made her feature film debut in 1993 in THE CRUSH, where show won two MTV Movie Awards for her role for Best Breakthrough Performance and Best Villain. She appeared in the Aerosmith music video for Cryin\u2019, Amazing, and Crazy. She is best known for her role in CLUELESS, which was a sleeper hit in the summer of 1995. She played Batgirl in the 1997 BATMAN & ROBIN, also starred in BEAUTY SHOP, BLAST FROM THE PAST, BOOK CLUB, SCORCHED, and starred in and produced EXCESS BAGGAGE, just to name a few.<\/p>\n

The Suburban Collection Showplace has over 371,000 square feet of exhibit floor creating room for con attendees\u2019 favorite events, including Cosplay Contest, After-Party and much more. Returning and new attractions, along with guest announcements will be announced leading up to the Comic Con.<\/p>\n

An added convenience feature for guests to avoid the long admission lines, will be RFID wristbands! RFID wristbands are available for purchase and mailed to homes for an additional $15 fee. Fans who purchase these RFID wristbands and have them mailed prior to the con will not have to wait in any lines before entering the convention and get a faster start to their Motor City Comic Con experience. This option allows guests to skip registration by simply putting on the wristband before entering the show.<\/p>\n

The 2022 Motor City Comic Con will be held at the Suburban Collection Showplace which is located at 46100 Grand River Avenue in Novi, Michigan on Friday, May 13 (12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.), Saturday, May 14 (10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and Sunday, May 15 (10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
