Spring may be a couple of weeks away but if we look at what Dark Horse has to offer this year\"\"<\/a> we can say, \u201cWinter is coming.\u201d If you are confused by this, it is easily explained. For fans of George R.R. Martin\u2019s Game of Thrones you will know that, \u201cWinter is coming,\u201d is the family motto for the protagonists of the novels, the Starks. Game of Thrones is no longer just a series of books. It has jumped from the written page to become one of HBO\u2019s biggest hits of last year. Dark Horse has a whole line of products from the show from mugs and journals to the pin for the \u201cHand of the King.\u201d There is also a bust of Daenerys Targaryen (the exact likeness of actress Emilia Clarke) coming out but we can\u2019t show you a photo of it yet. All you need to know is that just like everything else Dark Horse is putting out, it looks great.<\/p>\n

Aside from Game of Thrones, Dark Horse is putting out some amazing ships from Mass Effect. Even if you are not a gamer there is no way you can look at these statues and not be impressed. Dark Horse has put big detail into tiny ships. The Normandy has never looked so good (there are 3 versions) and the Reaper in its deadly glory. There are also several patches and a deck of playing cards from Mass Effect as well.<\/p>\n

Dark Horse is bringing back a blast from the past, Good Luck Trolls! Even if you are too young to remember when these were first out you know them when you see them. The multicolor hair the little pot bellies the blank facial expression all of that adds up to cute collectibles. The Good Luck Troll will be packages in \u201csurprise boxes\u201d to add to the collectible fun. These will be great for all ages including your parents. You don\u2019t have to be a flower child from the 60\u2019s to be into these.<\/p>\n

Also for collectors and kids alike are new additions to the Domo line. Domo started out as the unofficial mascot of Japan\u2019s NHK network and has become a cultural phenomenon and sought after collectible. Domo comes in various colors, sizes and textures. Domo is a must for Japan lovers. Keep an eye out later this year for all the releases.<\/p>\n

Another classic that is being released from Dark Horse is a line of Snoopy figures. Snoopy is Charlie Brown\u2019s canine companion and is just as important part of the Peanut\u2019s line as Linus or Lucy. Snoopy is being released as a 5 \u00bd inch vinyl figure and will come in a variety of colors. Snoopy is the coolest beagle on the planet.<\/p>\n

\nOther releases from Dark Horse this year will be a Dragon Age dragon statue of a dragon (makes sense) and a deck of playing cards. There is also a beautiful bust based on the art of Camilla D\u2019Errico. The bust is entitled \u201cNo Ordinary Love\u201d and you have to love a statue that depicts a squid on a pretty girl\u2019s head. Dark Horse also adds to their classic Marvel Superhero statue line with Namor and Thor.<\/p>\n
