It’s been 30 years since Dr. Sam Beckett \"\"<\/a>stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished. Now a new team has been assembled to restart the project in the hopes of understanding the mysteries behind the machine and the man who created it.<\/p>\n

Says Daniel James Chan: \u201cIn \u2018Quantum Leap\u2019 we\u2019re on a space shuttle one week and the next in the old west. That type of storytelling calls for a broad range of music flavors which is one of my favorite parts of being a composer.\u201d<\/p>\n

      ABOUT DANIEL JAMES CHAN<\/p>\n

      Daniel James Chan composes music for television & film. Currently he is scoring NBC\u2019s Quantum Leap. Previous credits include scores for Supergirl, DC\u2019s Legends of Tomorrow, ABC’s Emergence and the Warner Bros. Animation series Freedom Fighters: The Ray. Notable film credits include The Odd Way Home, Monster in a House and the award-winning Josephine and the Roach.<\/p>\n

      Daniel is equally passionate about composing music for the concert stage. Performed works include Aetheris (for horn, strings & harp), Generations: Concerto for Violin & Orchestra, Swimming Light Fanfare and Overture for Comic Book Hero.<\/p>\n

      Before making Los Angeles his home, Daniel earned degrees from the University of Southern California, Southern Methodist University and the University of North Texas. He has participated in several esteemed music workshops including the ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop and the Aspen Music Festival and School.<\/p>\n
