The film is directed by Ben Wheatley (\u201cIn the Earth,\u201d \u201cFree Fire\u201d) and stars Jason Statham (\u201cThe Meg,\u201d \u201cFurious 7\u201d, \u201cThe Fate of the Furious,\u201d The \u201cTransporter\u201d films) and global action icon Wu Jing (\u201cTai Chi Master,\u201d \u201cInvisible Target,\u201d \u201cLegendary Assassin\u201d) and is the sequel to the surprise 2018 summer blockbuster \u201cThe Meg\u201d. The film will also be available to purchase on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD on October 24.<\/p>\n

On August 25, \u201cMeg 2: The Trench\u201d will be available for early Premium Digital Ownership at home for $24.99 and for 48-hour rental via PVOD for $19.99 SRP on participating digital platforms where you purchase movies, including Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Google Play, Vudu, and more.<\/p>\n
