These figures are based on characters from Rebel Moon Part One: A Child of Fire. The figures are Jimmy the battle android and the mysterious Nemesis. If you haven’t watched part one yet, be warned there are possible spoilers ahead.

JC-1435 or Jimmy was part of the Mechanicas Militarium, a vast sentient android army of the Motherworld, whose duty it was to defend the royal family. After witnessing the murder of King and the royal family, Jimmy and the other androids refused to ever take up arms again, choosing to become pacifists. No longer willing to act as a fighting force, the androids were eventually repurposed as laborers. In A Child of Fire, Jimmy makes the desperate choice to once again use a weapon to defend a helpless villager. Jimmy kills the attacking soldier, saving the villager before running off. Jimmy, battle android with a heart, is voiced by the great Anthony Hopkins.

The Jimmy action figure has multiple points of articulation and is highly poseable. A strong and formidable warrior, Nemesis has a very tragic back story. After her children were slaughtered by the Imperium she vowed revenge. Nemesis amputated her arms and replaced them with mechanical arms that enhanced her abilities. Also enhancing abilities is her weapon of choice, the Oracle Steel blades. These blades can be activated to become molten metal, allowing them to cut through almost any material. Nemesis, like Jimmy, is highly poseable. Her points of articulation are:

Head

Shoulders

Elbows (Double)

Waist

Hips

Thighs

Knees (Double)

Ankles

Feet

Also included are multiple accessories. These include:

Hat

Alternate Hands

Oracle Steel Blades

Oracle Steel Blades (activated)

Nemesis stands approximately 7 inches tall and retails for $24.99.

The scale for these figures is considered to be 1/10th scale which is where most of Diamond Select Toys’ fall. I do really like the look of these figures which, not surprisingly, were sculpted by Gentle Giant. Gentle Giant always brings their “A” game. I think that they did a great job to capture the look of Doona Bae for Nemesis. The Rebel Moon Series One figures join the long line of quality figures produced by Diamond Select Toys. These are really great looking and do have great playability.

Check out our unboxing video here.

The Rebel Moon Series One action figures will be a great addition to your figure collection!
