The pulsing and ominous orchestral score adds a menacing backdrop to the horror thriller written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan. The Warner Bros. Pictures\u2019 film starring Josh Hartnett, Ariel Donoghue, Saleka Shyamalan, Hayley Mills and Allison Pill is in theaters worldwide.<\/p>\n

    ABOUT HERD\u00cdS STEF\u00c1NSD\u00d3TTIR<\/p>\n

    Herd\u00eds Stef\u00e1nsd\u00f3ttir is an Icelandic film composer, producer and songwriter. Herd\u00eds Stef\u00e1nsd\u00f3ttir graduated with an M.A. degree in film scoring from New York University in 2017. Since graduation she has scored feature films including M. Night Shyamalan\u2019s Knock at The Cabin. She has earned multiple awards and nominations for her music including The Icelandic Music Awards, The Icelandic Academy Awards and nominations for The World Soundtrack Awards and Hollywood Music in Media Awards.<\/p>\n

    Herd\u00eds interned for the Oscar nominated composer J\u00f3hann J\u00f3hannsson in Berlin while he was working on the film Arrival (2016) and she has scored numerous short films that have premiered at top-tier festivals around the world like Berlinale, TIFF, Sundance and Palm Springs International Film Festival.<\/p>\n

    Herd\u00eds releases and produces her solo work under artist name Kongulo, she is currently working on her first solo record. Previous art projects include electro-pop duo East of My Youth. Their music has been described as sensual and addictive as getting your tongue frozen to a glacier of pure honey (JaJaJaMusic). The duo has showcased at SXSW, Eurosonic Noorderslag, KEXP, Sonar Reykjav\u00edk and Iceland Airwaves.Born in Reykjav\u00edk, Iceland, Herd\u00eds currently lives between Los Angeles and Rreykjav\u00edk.<\/p>\n
