The album pairs a score that presents a modern beat-driven take on the vibrant music reinterpreting the meaning of Mariachi alongside the traditional, emotive musical performances by the South Texas high school ensemble. The award-winning documentary directed by Alejandra Vasquez and Sam Osborn is streaming now on Netflix.<\/p>\n
