Walt Disney Records has released Moana \"\"<\/a>2 Deluxe Soundtrack, featuring a stunning score by Grammy\u00ae-winning composer Mark Mancina. Known for his work on the original Moana as well as The Lion King, Speed, and Tarzan, Mancina\u2019s dynamic, emotional compositions are at the heart of the film\u2019s sweeping musical landscape. Moana 2 marks Mancina’s return to the world of Oceania, alongside Grammy\u00ae Award-winning songwriters Barlow & Bear, and Billboard Music Award- and American Music Award-winning songwriter and composer Opetaia Foa\u2018i, who also returned for the sequel.<\/p>\n

The Moana Original Soundtrack has garnered over 20 billion worldwide streams since its release in 2016 and featured the catchy earworm \u201cYou\u2019re Welcome\u201d and the power anthem \u201cHow Far I\u2019ll Go.\u201d \u201cYou\u2019re Welcome\u201d is performed by Dwayne Johnson, who voices \u201cMaui\u201d in the films, has been RIAA\u00ae certified 6 times platinum and is the most watched video on DisneyMusic VEVO with over 1.6 Billion views to date. \u201cHow Far I\u2019ll Go\u201d is performed by Auli\u2018i Cravalho, who voices Moana, has been RIAA\u00ae certified 7 times platinum and was nominated for an Oscar\u00ae Award and Golden Globe\u00ae Award for Best Original Song.  <\/p>\n

Walt Disney Animation Studios\u2019 epic animated musical \u201cMoana 2\u201d reunites Moana (voice of Auli\u2018i Cravalho) and Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson) three years later for an expansive new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers. After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she\u2019s ever faced. <\/p>\n

Mark Mancina is a three-time Grammy Award Winning American film composer and Tony Nominated music producer. Mancina has scored over sixty films and television series including\u202fSpeed, Bad Boys, Twister, Training Day, Con Air, Criminal Minds, Blood+, Shooter, August Rush, Planes,\u202fand upcoming Clint Eastwood drama\u202fJuror #2.<\/p>\n

He has collaborated with Walt Disney Animation Studios (WDAS), composing scores for\u202fMoana, Brother Bear,\u202fand\u202fTarzan.\u202fHe also produced the original songs written by Elton John and Tim Rice for the 1994 blockbuster\u202fThe Lion King.\u202fHe also produced songs for upcoming prequel\u202fMufasa.<\/p>\n

For the Disney Theatrical Productions adaptation of\u202fThe Lion King\u202fon Broadway, Mancina produced the score and composed additional music and lyrics.
