The score mixes emotive strings with modern electronics and vocalizations that vividly underscore the challenging themes of the film.&nbsp;<em>The Fire Inside<\/em>, directed by Rachel Morrison and written by Barry Jenkins stars Ryan Destiny and Brian Tyree Henry.&nbsp;&nbsp;The Amazon MGM film is in theaters beginning now.&nbsp;&nbsp;Rated PG-13 for some strong language, thematic elements, and brief suggestive material.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<em>The Fire Inside<\/em>&nbsp;is the inspirational true story of Claressa Shields, arguably the greatest female boxer of all time. A high school Junior from Flint, Michigan, aided by her tough-love coach, Jason Crutchfield, pushes past all limitations to become the first American woman to win an Olympic gold medal in boxing. As a performer she speaks her lyrical truth with a supreme passion and a voice that will shake your foundation and shatter your expectations with its soulful intensity.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n2017 marked her debut as a film score composer with Dee Rees\u2019 Oscar- nominated&nbsp;<em>Mudbound<\/em>.
