Lakeshore Records has released Brave \"\"<\/a>The Dark\u2014Original Motion Picture Soundtrack<\/span> <\/em>digitally,  featuring music by composers Jacob Yoffee and Roahn Hylton. The modern yet poignant score provides an emotive backdrop to the film\u2019s inspiring themes. Brave The Dark<\/em>, directed by Damian Harris and starring Jared Harris and Nicolas Hamilton, is in theaters beginning today.

\nWhen Mr. Deen (Jared Harris, Chernobyl, The Crown) discovers one of his students has been living out of his car and thrown into jail, he decides to bail him out. Determined to curb Nate\u2019s self-destructive behavior, Mr. Deen quickly discovers a host of dark secrets that are slowly tearing Nate apart. What started as a good deed becomes a desperate fight to save Nate from his own demons. As Nate spirals deeper into despair, Mr. Deen must decide how far he\u2019s willing to go to save a kid on the brink of losing everything\u2014even himself.<\/p>\n

\nABOUT JACOB YOFFEE & ROAHN HYLTON<\/u><\/strong>
\nEver since meeting in Israel during the 2016 Reality Music conference, Roahn Hylton & Jacob Yoffee have been working together on projects for record labels, film, television & advertising.  Founding the music collective Th3rdstream, their interests lie in fusing their musical backgrounds, always eager to explore new combinations of styles and sounds.  
\n 
\nCurrently they are scoring Season 4 of  \u2018Bel-Air\u2019 for NBC\/Universal as well as the Peacock docu-series \u2018SNL50\u2019 and an upcoming HBO series.  Hylton is currently nominated for a Grammy as a producer for his work on Rocky Dawunis \u2018Rise\u2019 (Best Global Music Performance) and Yoffee recently arranged, produced and conducted the new orchestral Warner Bros Logo.

\nTogether they\u2019ve composed & produced both the score and Theme song for ABC\u2019s The Wonder Years re-imagining as well as both score & songs for the \u2018Vampire Academy\u2019 series created\/produced by Julie Plec at NBCUniversal, including collaborations with Jordan Sparks, Skylar Grey and Brent Fiyaz. Before that they scored Robert Downey, Jr.\u2019s \u2018Age of A.I.\u2019 series, Kevin Hart\u2019s Emmy-nominated series \u2018Don\u2019t F**k This Up\u2019 for Netflix and Amazon\u2019s highly acclaimed ‘Free Meek’ series which was produced by Jay-Z & Meek Mill.

\nOften fusing pop, hip-hop, jazz and film score they\u2019ve created soundtrack<\/span>s for several music driven projects such as the Showtime Documentaries \u2018The Show\u2019 about Dr. Dre\u2019s Pepsi Half-time Show in 2022 and The Weeknd\u2019s Pepsi Half-time Show in 2020 as well as  their song-heavy pop-score for YouTube\u2019s ‘Sherwood’; a dystopic animated sci-fi series that re-imagines the Robin Hood tale.

\nTheir first episodic collaboration drew on jazz & hip-hop for Lebron James\u2019 \u2018Best Shot\u2019. Their score, which featured both songs & instrumental pieces was released by Warner Bros on the Water Tower Music label.

\nIndividually they\u2019ve been working for many years in their respective fields:

\nRoahn Hylton (First Born) was a co-producer on Nicki Minaj\u02bcs first Billboard Top 5 single \u201cSuper Bass\u201d. In addition to the song being a platinum hit in the U.S., \u201cSuper Bass\u201d spent several weeks inside the top 20 and is Minaj\u02bcs highest charting solo single to date.  He also produced  \u201cGun Shot\u201d for Nicki Minaj on her Platinum Album \u201cRoman Reloaded\u201d, which ranked #1 on the Billboard 200.  He produced \u201cHoneymoon Avenue\u201d for Arianna Grande on her RIAA Gold Certified album “Yours Truly,\u201d also peaking at #1 on Billboard top 200. Then he produced “Rick James” and “No Complications” for Keyshia Cole on her 6th<\/sup> studio album, which eventually become the #1 RnB album in the country, making it his fourth number 1 album in 4 years.

\nJacob Yoffee is currently the Resident Composer for the American Studio Orchestra and scored  Disney\u2019s #1 series \u2018Andi Mack\u2019 from the creator of Lizzie McGuire as well as the Anime series \u2018Ingress : The Animation\u2019 for Netflix and the official re-release of Nintendo\u2019s Tetris Video Game.  He has scored over thirty feature films including Pawn, an action-thriller starring Oscar-winner Forest Whitaker, Ray Liotta & Michael Chiklis and A Resurrection, starring Mischa Barton and the late-great Michael Clarke Duncan. In 2016 he was awarded an ASCAP Screen Music Award for his work on \u2018Finding Carter\u2019, a one-hour drama on MTV. He has written custom music for the trailer campaigns of Star Wars : The Force Awakens, Marvel\u2019s Secret Invasion, Star Wars : The Last Jedi, Disney\u2019s The Jungle Book, The Adam Project, Aladdin, Rogue One : A Star Wars Story, Pirates of the Caribbean : Dead Men Tell No Tales & Ready Player One.
