ABOUT THE COUPLE NEXT DOOR<\/p>\n

The series, which stars Sam Heughan (\u201cOutlander,\u201d \u201cSuspect\u201d), Eleanor Tomlinson (\u201cThe Outlaws,\u201d \u201cPoldark\u201d), Jessica De Gouw (\u201cPennyworth,\u201d Our Man from Jersey) and Alfred Enoch (Tigers, \u201cHow to Get Away with Murder\u201d) previously aired on Channel 4 in the UK and will air on STARZ this winter.<\/p>\n

When Evie (Tomlinson) and Pete (Enoch) move into an upscale neighborhood, they find themselves in a world of curtain twitching and status anxiety. But soon find friendship in the shape of the couple next door, alpha traffic cop Danny (Heughan) and his wife, glamorous yoga instructor Becka (De Gouw). As time goes on, these two couples get increasingly close to each other and one fateful night, become sexually entangled in a way that will change their lives forever\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Couple Next Door\u201d is a deliciously dark, psychological drama, exploring the claustrophobia of suburbia and the fallout of chasing your deepest desires. Directed by Dries Vos (\u201cSuspect,\u201d \u201cProfessor T\u201d) and written by David Allison (Marcella, \u201cBedlam\u201d), the six-part series is an addictive, emotional roller coaster and looks at how we never know what goes on behind closed doors. Jo McGrath, Walter Iuzzolino, Alison Kee serve as executive producers and the producer is Jen Burnet. The series is produced by Eagle Eye Drama and distributed worldwide by Beta Film.<\/p>\n

ABOUT HANNES DE MAEYER<\/p>\n

Hannes De Maeyer is one of Belgium’s most versatile composers, best known for his collaboration with director duo Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah (Rebel, Gangsta, Black) and from his original music to ITV prime time drama Professor T and psychological thriller series The Couple Next Door (Starz). His scores range from pure electronic to impressive symphonic instrumentation.<\/p>\n

De Maeyer\u2019s symphonic score for the war epic Torpedo won him Best Original Score at the 2020 World Soundtrack Awards. His work spans international productions, including the series Keizersvrouwen (Women Of The Night – Netflix), and the animated series Ninja Express. In 2022, he earned acclaim for his score for Rebel, a musical tragedy directed by El Arbi & Fallah, which premiered at Cannes and won multiple awards, including Best Original Score at the Magritte Awards.<\/p>\n

Most recently, De Maeyer scored the NPO miniseries The Jewish Council and the UK series The Couple Next Door. He recently completed the fourth season of the UK remake of Professor T with the fifth currently in the works and also completed the sequel to Gangsta (Patser). His music continues to resonate across genres, establishing him as a key figure in contemporary film composition.<\/p>\n
