In theaters now, Spyglass Media Group\u2019s Heart Eyes<\/em> is directed by Josh Ruben, written by Phillip Murphy, Christopher Landon & Michael Kennedy and stars Olivia Holt and Mason Gooding. Heart Eyes is distributed by Screen Gems in the U.S. and Canada and is produced by Landon, Greg Gilreath and Adam Hendricks.

\nFor the past several years, the \u201cHeart Eyes Killer\u201d has wreaked havoc on Valentine\u2019s Day by stalking and murdering romantic couples. This Valentine\u2019s Day, no couple is safe\u2026
\nWadley notes: \u201cI\u2019m beyond excited for audiences to experience the Heart Eyes<\/em> score as a soundtrack. Blending horror, comedy, and romance was such a fun challenge, and I pulled inspiration from classic rom-com and horror composers like Alan Silvestri, Bernard Herrmann, and Krzysztof Penderecki. From the eerie three-note motif of the \u2018Heart Eyes Killer\u2019 to the love theme that fights to break through the chaos, this film and score was a blast to collaborate on with my dear friend Josh Ruben, and I can\u2019t wait for everyone to hear it!”

\nABOUT JAY WADLEY<\/u><\/strong>
\nJay Wadley is a NY-based composer and music producer, a two-time winner of the Charles Ives Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and has been featured in IndieWire’s<\/a> 2020 and 2016 \u201c10 Best Scores of the Year.\u201d He most recently scored the Sony Pictures Entertainment romantic horror film Heart Eyes <\/em><\/strong>and the 2024 historical drama series Franklin<\/em><\/strong> (AppleTV+) showcasing his command of the orchestra and score production. For the series, Wadley wrote four and a half hours of music that blends contemporary classical technique, baroque and classical string writing, Americana horns, while using electroacoustic hybrid production techniques.

\nWadley\u2019s other notable projects include Charlie Kaufman\u2019s psychological drama\/thriller I\u2019m Thinking of Ending Things<\/em><\/a>, for which he composed an original ballet, Oscar-winning director Ben Cleary\u2019s Swan Song<\/em><\/a> (Apple\/Anonymous), Minhal Baig\u2019s We Grown Now<\/em><\/a> (Sony Pictures Classics), Heidi Ewing’s 2020 Sundance NEXT award-winning narrative debut I Carry You with Me<\/em><\/a> (Sony Pictures Classics), Shed<\/em><\/a> a commissioned modern dance piece from CoLab Ensemble <\/em>for The Guggenheim\u2019s works in process series, Emma Tammi\u2019s Blood Moon<\/em><\/a> (Blumhouse\/Hulu), and additional music and percussion on M. Night Shyamalan\u2019s OLD<\/em><\/a>. Upcoming projects include Before<\/em><\/a> (AppleTV+\/Paramount), a psychological drama\/thriller starring Billy Crystal and EP\u2019d by Crystal, Sarah Thorp, and Eric Roth, and season two of Tell Me Lies<\/em><\/a> on Hulu.<\/p>\n

He is co-founder of Found Objects with Trevor Gureckis<\/a>, <\/strong>composer for M. Night Shyamalan’s Servant<\/em><\/a> (<\/em>AppleTV+) andOLD<\/em><\/a>.  <\/strong>Found Objects is an award-winning music and audio production company providing original music production, music supervision, and sound for Film, TV, Advertising, and Interactive Media, and was named one of Inc. 5000s fastest-growing privately held companies of 2020.
