Hollywood Records announces \"\"<\/a>the release of Marvel Television\u2019s Ironheart \u2013 Vol. 1 (Episodes 1 – 3) Original Soundtrack with music by Dara Taylor (\u201cStraw,\u201d \u201cThe Boys: Diabolical,\u201d \u201cStrays\u201d)\u2014available today as the series\u2019 first three episodes launches on Disney+. The digital soundtrack is available at Spotify, Apple Music, and other digital platforms. Ironheart\u2013 Vol. 2 (Episode 4 – 6) Original Soundtrack is set for release on July 1\u2014coinciding with the Disney+ debut of the series\u2019 final three episodes. Starring Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, the new series finds the genius inventor in her hometown of Chicago, where she continues to build high tech iron suits while navigating personal and professional challenges.<\/p>\n

Taylor delivers a bold, emotionally rich score for Marvel\u2019s \u201cIronheart,\u201d blending distorted synths, trap percussion, and orchestral layers to reflect Riri Williams\u2019 journey through grief, identity, and legacy. Inspired in part by a voicemail from Taylor\u2019s late father, the music adds personal depth to the series\u2019 exploration of loss and resilience.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the score, Taylor says, \u201cRiri Williams is a force of nature whose mind never stops, for better or worse. The score pairs her insatiable thirst for excellence and meaning with curious synths, epic orchestra, and bucket drums as raw as her building materials. On the contrary, the music for the villains is calculated and methodical with processed violins, gothic melodies, and otherworldly vocal textures. Composing the score for \u2018Ironheart\u2019 and working with the Marvel team has been one of the great joys of my career, and the freedom to dip my hands in various genre pots was a dream come true.”<\/p>\n

    Set after the events of \u201cBlack Panther: Wakanda Forever,\u201d Marvel Television\u2019s \u201cIronheart\u201d pits technology against magic when Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne)\u2014a young, genius inventor determined to make her mark on the world\u2014returns to her hometown of Chicago. Her unique take on building iron suits is brilliant, but in pursuit of her ambitions, she finds herself wrapped up with the mysterious yet charming Parker Robbins aka \u201cThe Hood\u201d (Anthony Ramos).     Dara Taylor has emerged as a fresh voice in the world of film and television scoring, as evidenced by her work on Amazon Studios\u2019 \u201cThe Tender Bar,\u201d directed by Academy Award\u00ae-winner George Clooney, and Universal Pictures\u2019 \u201cStrays,\u201d starring Will Ferrell and Jamie Foxx. Her most recent scoring project is the hit Netflix and Tyler Perry directed film, \u201cStraw,\u201d starring Taraji P. Henson. Taylor is also the composer for Marvel Studios\u2019 highly anticipated series \u201cIronheart.\u201d She drew on a deeply personal connection, incorporating her late father\u2019s final voicemail to her into the score as a way to emotionally connect with the show\u2019s lead character, Riri Williams.<\/p>\n
