Lakeshore Records announces the release \"\"<\/a>of the second single taken from the upcoming Kiss of the Spider Woman-Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, \u201cNever You,\u201d which is available digitally now. Performed by global superstar and Golden Globe\u00ae, SAG\u00ae, and Grammy\u00ae nominated icon Jennifer Lopez (Hustlers, Out of Sight, Selena), the strikingly emotive song gets an official first-ever high-profile inclusion in the musical film and recording.<\/p>\n

Written by legendary songwriting duo Kander and Ebb and masterfully produced by Grammy-nominated music producer and supervisor Matt Sullivan (West Side Story, Dreamgirls), \u201cNever You\u201d is one of three songs that were performed in the original SUNY Purchase production of the musical in 1990 but not included in the Broadway version. The song was found to be a perfect fit for the new movie and Lopez brings an unforgettably vivid energy to the song that will no doubt establish it as a newfound classic.<\/p>\n

The full soundtrack of 24 songs will be released on October 3, featuring songs including \u201cShe\u2019s A Woman\u201d performed by Tonatiuh and \u201cGimme Love\u201d performed by Lopez. Additional songs included from the SUNY production are \u201cI Will Dance Alone\u201d and \u201cAn Everyday Man\u201d as well as the never before released \u201cCome Out,\u201d available as a bonus track on the CD version. The Kiss Of The Spider Woman soundtrack is available to pre order now.<\/p>\n

The film, which made its world premiere at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, where it received rave reviews from critics and audiences was directed by Oscar winner Bill Condon who created a stunning new adaptation of Manuel Puig\u2019s 1976 novel and the Tony Award-winning Broadway production. Lopez\u2019s evocative performance on the soundtrack\u2019s title track gives audiences their first taste of the cinematic experience to come.<\/p>\n
