The score was composed and recorded by internationally renowned musician Nick Cave, alongside long-time collaborator Warren Ellis. Cave and Ellis\u2019 score provides a singularly dark and intense backdrop to the series based on the popular detective Harry Hole by author, creator and series executive producer Jo Nesb\u00f8.  The album is available digitally in the Americas on Lakeshore Records and the rest of the world via Invada Records. With over 60 million books sold worldwide – including a staggering 5.6 million in Norway alone (more than the nation\u2019s population!) – Nesb\u00f8\u2019s novels have enthralled readers and defined the crime genre. Produced by Working Title, Jo Nesbo’s Detective Hole is streaming now on Netflix.<\/p>\n

The score is the latest collaboration between Cave and Ellis following 2025\u2019s The Death of Bunny Munro.<\/p>\n
