The album\u2019s release is in tandem with the global phenomenon returning to its original home nearly two decades after its debut and following a recent acclaimed tour of the UK and Ireland. This Tony Award-winning production based on Michael Morpurgo\u2019s beloved novel adapted by Nick Stafford and originally directed by Marianne Elliott and Tom Morris, has become the most successful play in the history of the National Theatre, winning more than 25 major awards, and has been seen by over 8.8 million people worldwide. It creates this undercurrent of emotion slowly building within the dramatic scenes. You can hear and feel the tension during battlefield scenes, and yet also calm and relaxed in others. At the National Theatre, he has worked as actor and musical director\/composer on over 30 productions including War Horse (original member of the creative team; also as production executive on tour), The Mysteries, Larkrise, Candleford and Glengarry Glen Ross.TV includes as Daniel Hagman in Sharpe (also as script associate).
