Lakeshore Records in partnership \"\"<\/a>with Ubisoft are celebrating the digital release today of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora\u2014More Music From The Game featuring music by BAFTA-nominated composer Neal Acree (The Legend of Vox Machina, World of Warcraft).  Acree pays tribute to his composer hero James Horner with his sweeping orchestral and percussive score that includes musicians Tony Hinnigan (on pan pipes\u2014a collaborator with Horner), MB Gordy on percussion and the singular voices of the Bulgarian ethnic choir.  It all makes up for a magical, otherworldly backdrop to the original game.<\/p>\n

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora™ is a first-person, action-adventure game set in the open world of the never-before-seen Western Frontier of Pandora. Abducted by the human militaristic corporation known as the RDA, you, a Na\u2019vi, were trained and molded to serve their purpose. Fifteen years later, you are free but find yourself a stranger in your birthplace. Reconnect with your lost heritage, discover what it truly means to be Na’vi, and join other clans to protect Pandora from the RDA.<\/p>\n

Featuring Horner\u2019s frequent collaborator Tony Hinnigan on pan pipes and world winds, MB Gordy on percussion, Bulgarian ethnic choir, orchestra and synths, my music for the game takes the listener into visceral side of the Na\u2019vi world.
