Lakeshore Records is set to release \"\"<\/a>The Five-Star Weekend\u2014Original Series Soundtrack digitally today, July 10, with an original score by composers Jake Staley and Josh Kramon.  The emotional and uplifting score enhances the character storylines that involve grief, friendship, pain, healing and personal growth. The Five-Star Weekend, produced by Universal Global Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, and starring Jennifer Garner, is streaming all episodes now on Peacock.<\/p>\n

Notes Staley: \u201cThe series deals with deeply personal themes\u2014grief, pain, love, friendship, and self-discovery\u2014and the challenge of the score was finding a musical language that could support all of those emotional shades without losing sight of the bigger picture. While each of the five characters is confronting their own life-changing experiences, the story ultimately celebrates growth, connection, and the idea that healing often happens through the people around us. That sense of shared humanity became the emotional foundation of the score.”<\/p>\n

SERIES LOGLINE: <\/p>\n

THE FIVE-STAR WEEKEND is centered on Hollis Shaw, a famed cook and best-selling author known for her delicious recipes, impeccable taste, and warm demeanor, who suffers a devastating loss. Unable to move forward, the death starts to expose the cracks in Hollis\u2019s picture-perfect life \u2014 her strained marriage, her complicated relationship with her daughter, and her growing pursuit of validation from her fans. In an effort to overcome grief and find herself again, Hollis gets the idea to host a weekend away at her house on Nantucket with three friends from different stages in her life: her childhood, her twenties, her thirties, and one surprise fifth star. Set against a luxurious and coastal backdrop, the stars will mature in ways they could never imagine as boundaries are pushed and secrets are exposed. <\/p>\n

    ABOUT JAKE STALEY<\/p>\n

    Jake Staley is a composer and producer whose work can be heard in television, film, video games and commercials. After studying contemporary writing and production at Berklee College of Music, he relocated to Los Angeles and quickly began contributing music to several hit TV series. From working with 100-piece orchestras, to producing remixes for Nicki Minaj\u2019s world tour, he has established himself as one of the industry\u2019s most versatile composers. Jake is scoring ABC\u2019s hit crime drama \u2018High Potential’ and Peacock’s highly anticipated new series ‘The Five Star Weekend’, while collaborating with two-time Oscar winner Gustavo Santaolalla on the score for HBO’s ‘The Last of Us\u2019.<\/p>\n

    ABOUT JOSH KRAMON<\/p>\n

    Josh Kramon is an American composer, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist renowned for his contributions to television scoring and original songwriting. He has established himself as a versatile musician with a career spanning various facets of the music industry.<\/p>\n

    In the early stages of his career, Kramon was a member of the band The Imposters, who were signed to Interscope Records in the early 1990s. He later joined The Kays alongside vocalist Chauncey Jacks. Transitioning into a solo career, he released his debut album, “Say It Now,” under Universal Music Group’s indie distributor, Fontana.<\/p>\n

    Kramon’s talents have extended into composing for television, where he has crafted scores for numerous series. Notably, he composed music for the CW’s “Veronica Mars,” and both the original “iZombie” as well as it’s reboot on Hulu, Fox’s “Lethal Weapon,” ABC’s “Forever,” and “Party Down” on STARZ. His work has significantly contributed to the tone and success of these shows.<\/p>\n

    Kramon’s recent projects include composing the score for ABC’s hit television series “High Potential,” which premiered on September 17, 2024. He continues to release original music with new material available on all streaming platforms for fans including his upcoming KRAMON project collaborating with artists such as Meredith Adelaide and Hunter Hawkins.<\/p>\n

    Placements of Josh’s songs include shows like ABC’s “A Million Little Things,” Freeform’s “Switched at Birth,” TLC’s “Miami Ink,” Bravo’s “Rachel Zoe Project,” and “Dateline NBC”<\/p>\n
