His two estranged children (James Corden, Jessica Gunning) enlist Lori (Michaela Coel), a young painter and sometime-forger, to pose as a prospective assistant and gain access to a fabled series of unfinished canvases Julian has buried deep in his home studio, in a deceptive bid to secure an inheritance for themselves.

Holmes notes: “I’ve been working with Steven Soderbergh since 1997, so that’s nearly 30 years. Working with this man is nothing other than a complete joy. To work on the music for a film like The Christophers was a beautiful experience; it’s such a beautiful film. It’s a career high; I think for Ian McKellen who I believe will get many award nominations for his performance and Michaela Coel who was also absolutely outstanding. Their partnership together was genius casting. The Christophers is a movie that I will never forget; it’s one of those films that will be around forever. It will be shown at Christmas time and holidays for many years to come because it’s a film that really deserves to be seen.”

Track List

Opening Titles

Why Would I Do That?

Enter Julian Sklar

Lori Butler

Becoming Someone Else

The Christophers

Free to Leave

Vanishing Ink

Almost Worth Staying Alive For

Feathers

Lying to Myself My Whole Life

Everyone’s a Critic

Restoration Job

So Long, Julian Sklar

ABOUT DAVID HOLMES

David Holmes is a Belfast born DJ & producer.
