Superman vs. The Elite, a DC Comics Premiere Movie, is produced by\"\"<\/a>
\nWarner Premiere, DC Entertainment, Warner Bros. Animation
\nand Warner Home Video. The all-new, PG-13 rated film is scripted by
\naward-winning comics writer Joe Kelly and the story is adapted from
\nhis original 2001 DC Comics release, \u201cWhat\u2019s So Funny About Truth,
\nJustice and the American Way?\u201d The single-issue comic, Action Comics
\n#775, was lauded by Wizard Magazine as the \u201cGreatest Superman Story of
\nAll Time,\u201d and ranked the epic tale at No. 21 on its list of the \u201cTop
\n100 Comics of the last 30 years.\u201d<\/p>\n

In Superman vs. The Elite, Superman’s effectiveness as a super hero
\ncomes into question when a new group of super powerful crusaders,
\nknown as “The Elite,” appear on the scene. As super heroes, the Elite
\nknow no bounds, and are more than willing to kill, even on a massive
\nscale, to stop villainy — putting them on a collision course with the
\never-ethical, yet preferably non-lethal Man of Steel.<\/p>\n

George Newbern (Father of the Bride) reprises his Justice League
\nanimated television role as Superman, and primetime television star
\nPauley Perrette (NCIS) provides the voice of Lois Lane. Downes steps
\nin as Manchester Black, leader of The Elite. David Kaufman (Justice
\nLeague: Doom) also reprises his Justice League TV series role as Jimmy
\nOlsen.<\/p>\n

The film is directed by Michael Chang (Batman: Brave and the Bold).
\nBruce Timm (Batman: Year One) is executive producer, and Alan Burnett
\n(Green Lantern: Emerald Knights) is producer.<\/p>\n
