NBC will present the network special \u201cJustin Bieber: All Around the World\u201d over two nights, featuring award-winning and record-breaking artist, Justin Bieber. The special will\"\"<\/a> air Wednesday, June 20th from 8-9pm ET, concluding on Thursday, June 21st from 8-9 pm ET.<\/p>\n

Combining documentary and music performances, the superstar\u2019s first-ever network special goes behind the scenes of his tour around the globe as he showcases his new album \u201cBelieve,\u201d including #1 single \u201cBoyfriend.\u201d It\u2019s a grueling itinerary of nine cities in seven countries over 12 days, traveling over 16,000 miles and greeting over 500,000 fans. After several impromptu concerts, album release parties, fan meet & greets and international TV appearances, Bieber will return to the U.S. for a special New York City performance. And for the first time, viewers can see what life is like through the eyes of Justin Bieber with the \u201cJustin-cam.\u201d<\/p>\n

“The worldwide hysteria surrounding Justin\u2019s album launch is unlike anything we\u2019ve seen, and we\u2019re thrilled to share it with our audience over two nights,” said Doug Vaughan, SVP of Special Programs and Late Night for NBC. \u201cWith added stops in Italy and Mexico, we’ll have even more unprecedented access to Justin as our cameras film not only his performances, but his every move on this global tour.\u201d<\/p>\n

With worldwide sales in excess of 15 million units, Bieber has dominated pop culture and social media for more than three years. He has over 44 million Facebook fans, more than 23 million Twitter followers, and over 2.9 billion YouTube views. He is far and away the most popular YouTube artist of all time, and received the 2012 Billboard Music Award for Social Artist of the Year.<\/p>\n

\u201cBelieve\u201d follows Bieber\u2019s #1 Christmas album, \u201cUnder the Mistletoe,\u201d which was his third #1 Soundscan debut in just 18 months, making him the first solo artist in Billboard history to chart three #1 albums before his 18th birthday. Prior to \u201cUnder the Mistletoe,\u201d \u201cMy World 2.0\u201d entered Soundscan at #1 in 2010 (containing \u201cBaby,\u201d ranked the #1 most viewed YouTube video, currently over 738 million views); and \u201cNever Say Never: The Remixes\u201d entered at #1 in 2011, the soundtrack to the highest domestic-grossing concert film in U.S. history.<\/p>\n
