Seven stars of the popular series \u201cStar Trek: The Next Generation\u201d will gather for their\"\"<\/a> first 25-year U.S. reunion at Wizard World Austin Comic Con, Oct. 26-28, 2012, at the Austin Convention Center. All seven of the main stars are scheduled to attend, including the legendary Patrick Stewart, who portrayed the stern, determined Captain Jean-Luc Picard, commander of the USS Enterprise.<\/p>\n

The \u201cTNG\u201d stars will be joined in Austin by Eliza Dushku (\u201cBuffy The Vampire Slayer,\u201dTrue Lies), WWE\u00ae Superstar CM Punk\u00ae, Dean Cain (\u201cLois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman,\u201d \u201c90210\u201d), Anthony Michael Hall (Sixteen Candles, Weird Science), James Marsters (\u201cBuffy The Vampire Slayer,\u201d \u201cTorchwood\u201d) and the Boondock Saints trio of Norman Reedus, Sean Patrick Flanery and David Della Rocco, among others.<\/p>\n

The other \u201cTNG\u201d actors on board include Jonathan Frakes (Commander William T. Riker), LeVar Burton (Lt. Commander Geordi La Forge), Michael Dorn (Lieutenant Worf), Marina Sirtis (Counselor Deanna Troi), Brent Spiner (Lt. Commander Data) and Gates McFadden (Dr. Beverly Crusher). The series, which ran for seven seasons from 1987 through 1994, garnered 18 daytime Emmys and was a hugely successful follow-up to the original \u201cStar Trek\u201d series from two decades earlier.<\/p>\n

The lineup of superstar comic creators in Austin is also impressive, with Eisner Award Hall of Famer Neal Adams (\u201cBatman,\u201d \u201cGreen Lantern\u201d), Eisner winners Paul Jenkins (\u201cSpider-Man,\u201d \u201cHulk\u201d) and Bernie Wrightson (\u201cSwamp Thing,\u201d \u201cHouse of Mystery\u201d), Kaare Andrews (\u201cAstonishing X-Men,\u201d \u201cIron Man\u201d), Humberto Ramos (\u201cThe Spectacular Spider-Man,\u201d \u201cImpulse\u201d) and Mike McKone (\u201cAvengers,\u201d \u201cGreen Lantern\u201d) at the top of the deep list.<\/p>\n

Other celebrities of note scheduled to attend include Sofia Milos (\u201cCSI: Miami,\u201d \u201cThe Order\u201d), Vic Mignogna (Reservoir Chronicle: Tsubasa, \u201cFullmetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel\u201d), Craig Parker (\u201cSpartacus,\u201d Lord of the Rings), Eve Myles (\u201cDoctor Who,\u201d \u201cTorchwood\u201d), Paul McGillion (\u201cStargate: Atlantis,\u201d \u201cStar Trek\u201d) and Lou Ferrigno (\u201cThe Incredible Hulk,\u201d \u201cThe King of Queens\u201d).<\/p>\n

Wizard World Austin Comic Con, produced by Wizard World, Inc. (WIZD.PK), will bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop-fi, pop culture, movies, graphic novels, comics, toys, video gaming, television, sci-fi, gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more. Admission is free for kids 10 and under, and Sunday, October 28 is \u201cKids Day,\u201d with an array of programming specially designed for children.<\/p>\n
