It arrives in the centennial year of a director about whom film historian Ephraim Katz said, &#8220;His insistence on authenticity of detail nearly approaches an obsession.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">The disc includes commentary by scholars Judith Mayne and John E.
