Soundwaves: Is God Is Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Music by Moses Sumney & Joeseph Shirley
The directorial debut from Aleshea 
Harris sees the playwright adapt her award-winning stage play for the big screen. The film centers on twin sisters, Racine (Kara Young) and Anaia (Mallori Johnson), who set out to complete the dying wish of their birth mother (Vivica A. Fox): to avenge her and kill their father, “Man” (Sterling K. Brown).
Together, Moses and Shirley rise to the challenge of scoring a spectacular film that draws on the genres of Southern Gothic and Greek tragedy. The result is 20 raw, transcendent tracks that draw on American blues, rock, and experimental sound to peel back the layers of a visceral saga. From compositions fit for the divine command of their birth mother to homes set ablaze to translating the twins’ telepathic mode of communication into liminal non-lexical vocals, Moses Sumney and Joseph Shirley dexterously arrange a stunning original soundtrack for the mystical thriller.

with Ubisoft are celebrating the digital release today of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora—More Music From The Game featuring music by BAFTA-nominated composer Neal Acree (The Legend of Vox Machina, World of Warcraft). Acree pays tribute to his composer hero James Horner with his sweeping orchestral and percussive score that includes musicians Tony Hinnigan (on pan pipes—a collaborator with Horner), MB Gordy on percussion and the singular voices of the Bulgarian ethnic choir. It all makes up for a magical, otherworldly backdrop to the original game.

forthcoming release tomorrow, May 22, of the second single taken from the forthcoming Masters of the Universe—Original Motion Picture Soundtrack–the epic title track “Masters of the Universe” performed with skull-shattering force by UK multi-platinum rock heroes The Darkness. The song was written by Academy Award-nominated and Emmy-winning composer Daniel Pemberton (Project Hail Mary, Spider Man: Across The Spider-Verse) with Dan and Justin Hawkins from The Darkness. The song was produced by Dan Hawkins and Daniel Pemberton. The full score album will be released on June 5. The film starring Nicholas Galitzine, Camila Mendes, Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Morena Baccarin, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, featuring Kristen Wiig with Jared Leto and Idris Elba is in theaters June 5.
