It seems to me that whenever there is “cute” creature in a movie or tel
evision show it is done to attract the kids. You saw this with the Ewoks in Return of the Jedi and Jar Jar Binks in The Phantom Menace; characters like this these make kids laugh. Having almost no knowledge about The Guardians of the Galaxy comics I thought that Rocket fell into that category, but I was wrong.
It would seem that Rocket is more of a badass than a cutesy critter. (Well, raccoons are cute but Rocket isn’t a raccoon as he is quick to point out) Now thanks to Funko you can bring home your own Rocket, complete with fur and a big ass gun!
