Cad Bane is one of the fiercest bounty hunters in the galaxy. Bane is from the planet Duros and according to Wookiepedia became one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy following the death of Jango Fett. The character’s look and voice are loosely based on the character Sentenza Lee Van Cleef played in 1966’s The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Of the 3 main characters in that movie, Sentenza was the “bad” and Cad Bane lived up to that moniker.
Bane was a fan favorite from his first appearance and those same fans were hoping he would make it into live action which he did. I thought he looked great on The Book of Boba Fett and paid definite homage to his animated counterpart.
