Lakeshore Records is set to release 
Wednesday—Original Series Soundtrack –a four track EP led off by a striking hit version of “Painted Black” performed by Wednesday Addams and additional tracks by The Nevermore Academy Orchestra. The EP is released digitally today, November 30. The series is created, executive produced and written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, from director and executive producer Tim Burton, and stars Jenna Ortega Gwendoline Christie, Christina Ricci, Hunter Doohan, Percy Hynes White, Joy Sunday, Emma Myers, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Georgie Farmer, Naomi Ogawa, and Moosa Mostafa, with guest stars Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán and Fred Armisen. Wednesday is streaming globally on Netflix.
The series is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.
