About Adam Lambert

After blowing everyone away on the eighth season of American Idol, Adam Lambert went on to become a GRAMMY-nominated artist for “Whatya Want From Me” off his debut album For Your Entertainment. Earning his fifth top 10 on Billboard’s Album Sales Chart with his latest album of inspired covers, High Drama (BMG US/Warner UK), Lambert is no stranger to impressing crowds with his carefully curated transformation of other artist’s songs — from the beginning of his career on American Idol, to his 2018 performance at the Kennedy Center Honors where he reduced Cher to tears with his delicate ballad reading of her mega-hit “Believe,” to his role as the current front man of Queen. Lambert’s second album Trespassing became the first album to reach the number one spot in the US and Canada by an openly gay artist, and Lambert’s impressive catalog also includes the smash hit “Ghost Town” from his highly anticipated third album The Original High which was executive produced by Max Martin and Shellback, “Superpower” and “Roses” feat. Nile Rogers from his album VELVET released in 2020. Lambert’s career extends into the world of film and TV as he is currently a judge on The Voice Australia, stars as Machiavillain in Peacock’s movie Megamind vs. The Doom Syndicate and series Megamind Rules!, was a judge on ITV’s Starstruck (UK) For the past two seasons; starred in his first feature film Fairyland, which was produced by Sofia Coppola and had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in 2023; performed the role of Eddie in Fox’s The Rocky Horror Picture Show; voiced character Emperor Maximus in animated-live action hybrid movie Playmobil: The Movie; judged The X Factor Australia where his artist, Isaiah, won the show; and joined the cast of Glee for a six-episode story in 2013. In addition, 2023 saw Adam perform the updated film score for Mad About The Boy in the latest documentary on Noel Coward, which has since been BAFTA nominated. Adam continues to solidify his global status as he recently wrapped a spectacular North American and Japan run of shows with Queen on their Rhapsody Tour, headlined Sydney Mardi Gras, performed for The Princess of Wales as part of her annual Christmas carol concert in Westminster Abbey last December, and headlined Pride in London with his single ‘You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)’ with Sigala which marked the official song of London Pride.
