Little Wing—Original Motion Picture Soundtrack digitally on featuring an original score by composer Anne Nikitin (Hijack, One Day, American Animals). Niktiin’s use of electronics, strings, percussion and vocalizations results in a hauntingly modern backdrop to the film inspired by the New Yorker article by Susan Orlean. The Paramount+ Original Movie starring Brian Cox and Kelly Reilly is streaming in the U.S., Canada, UK and Australia now.
LITTLE WING follows Kaitlyn, a teen who is reeling from her parents’ divorce and the pending loss of her home. She and her best friend hope to solve her mother’s financial woes by stealing a valuable bird, but Kaitlyn, instead, forms a bond with the owner, that leads her to a new outlook on life.
Notes Nikitin: “Creating the sonic palette for Little Wing was pure joy. Director Dean Israelite encouraged invention, so the score is an eclectic mix of contemporary strings, kooky percussion, processed piano, electric guitars, wailing vocals, fluttering violins and vocal/synth-generated pigeon sounds!
The sound world for our heroine Kaitlyn, a dejected teenager who experiences an awakening, crosses the line between avant-garde classical score and 90s Riot Grrrl punk.”

Anne Nikitin is an Emmy and Ivor Novello-nominated composer known for her versatility in creating bold and inventive sound worlds.
Her diverse body of work includes the Netflix hit series ONE DAY; the Apple TV+ series HIJACK starring Idris Elba; the cult heist movie AMERICAN ANIMALS starring Barry Keoghan; and MOTHERS’ INSTINCT starring Jessica Chastain and Anne Hathaway.
