Lakeshore Records has released Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie—Original Motion Picture Soundtrack digitally, featuring sparkling songs and music celebrating the first full-length film helmed by everyone’s favorite maritime Texan squirrel, Sandy Cheeks—a project that also lands in tandem with the 25th anniversary Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants.. Artists such as Carolyn Lawrence—the beloved voice of Cheeks, rock icon Linda Perry, singer songwriter Tami Neilson, singer Chantal Claret, producer Mickey Petralia, and the trio of composers known as Moniker, all come out to pay homage on the soundtrack. The album’s Music Supervisor and Executive Producer is Karyn Rachtman. The film starring Lawrence and longtime voice of SpongeBob, Tom Kenny, premieres today on Netflix.
When Bikini Bottom is scooped from the ocean, scientific squirrel Sandy Cheeks and her pal SpongeBob SquarePants saddle up for Texas to save their town.
