E.V.A.- Motor City Comic Con Partial Guest List for the Show November 8th-10th

Motor City Comic Con (MC3), Michigan’s largest and longest running comic book and pop culture convention since 1989, will be taking place November 8-10, 2024, at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi and is adding more celebrity guests that will be appearing at this event. Newly added to the list is Kiefer Sutherland, who is known for starring in 24, The Lost Boys, Young Guns, Flatliners, just to name a new. Tickets to attend Motor City Comic Con are on sale now at www.MotorCityComicCon.com

Motor City Comic Con, one of the largest conventions in the Midwest, takes place yearly in both the Spring and the Fall at the Suburban Collection Showplace. It features some of the largest actors from television, movies, and streaming platforms, along with the most creative artists, writers, and comic book creators in the industry. Throughout the three-day weekend celebrity and comic guests participate in autographs and photo opportunities with attendees, for additional fees. Some celebrity will have presales for autographs and photo ops, along with tickets to the overall convention available on the website and some guests will have those opportunities available on site at the convention. Attendees can also participate in various panel discussions, attractions, events, and explore various exhibitors. Artists, writers, and illustrators will also be featured throughout Artist Alley over the three-day convention. In addition, there will be crafters that will have extraordinary gifts, crafts, and replicas available, and some of the largest comic book and multimedia dealers from across the country that offer a variety of merchandise including comics, toys, art, unique jewelry, clothing, memorabilia and much more! Fans can also expect all the traditional favorites such as Cosplay Contests and kid-friendly activities, along with many more events and activities to be announced soon.

At 20 years old Ava is an illustrator, comic book artist, and writer that embraces the quirks drawing anything from anime/cartoons to realism. She is currently working on her own comic book and animation series The Heroic Losers.

 

Christopher J. Priest

He is the first black writer-editor in mainstream comics and is credited simply as Priest. He has worked with Marvel Comics writing for The Falcon miniseries and editor of Spider-Man comic book. He has also worked for DC Comics as a writer on Green Lantern.

 

Simon Bisley

British comic artist known for his dynamic and detailed art style, which blends elements of fantasy, horror, and heavy metal aesthetics. Some of his work includes ABC Warriors, Slaine, and DC’s Lobo.

 

Tim Jacobus

Best known for his work illustrating nearly 100 books in R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps series. He has done over 300 book covers and paintings for various series, novels, and video games.

Motor City Comic Con has an additional convenience feature for guests who want to bypass the event entry ticket lines and get into the convention faster, by having their MC3 wristband shipped or picked up in advance. For a $15 shipping fee, wristbands can be delivered in the weeks leading up to the convention, anywhere within the continental U.S. The deadline for the shipping option is Sunday, October 13, 2024, at 11:59pm EST.  MC3 wristbands are also available for early pick up, free of charge.
