Kirk Green Wrap from the STAR TREK™: THE ORIGINAL SERIES, this April we will be debuting another piece in the highly coveted ANOVOS Premier Line of uniforms — this time from STAR TREK™: THE NEXT GENERATION.
Having gained exclusive access to an original Commander William T. Riker (Jonathan Frakes) two-piece uniform and patterns from CBS/Paramount, every detail was studied and colors matched to near perfection for our first TNG release: the Men’s Two-Piece Command Division Uniform. As with products in our Premier Line, each item features the highest level of attention to detail, fabric and construction with a true no-holds barred approach at the recreation of an iconic uniform.
The Devil in the Details: Every piece belonging to the Premier line is studied thoroughly with hours logged in by both the ANOVOS team and industry professionals, including designers and manufacturers of Hollywood screen-used costumes. Whether the source is a screen used costume used from sets, production patterns used from the show, or simply screen grabs – no detail is spared in the recreation of a Premier Line replica uniform.
Fabric: Starting from the selection of the fabric, the identification process includes the usage of all sources from screen used outfits to screen grabs. Once the fabric is identified, the exact weave, weight and color is assessed with sourcing either being found or, simply, recreated in a custom mill. Only the most accurate fabric is chosen for the Premier Line with no exception made while bearing this title.
Construction: Using industry professionals, every seam and technique is carefully studied. Patterns are then taken from either screen-used sources or production-used patterns. In the reconstruction of replica prototype, final piece is sewn together not only using same parts, but also techniques as used on the originals, even if hand sewing is required.
The last and arguably the most important feature of a Premier Line piece is the limited time availability, not to be confused with limited pieces made available. Due to the amount of resource allocated into the exactness of Premier Line piece with custom dying and milling of fabric, a Premier Line piece will only be made available for purchase once a year, then “vaulted” until a future time. With rare exceptions made (such as network marketing), obtaining these rare pieces will be as scarce as their screen-used counterparts. It is highly recommended that both collectors and enthusiasts make use of our payment options before a Premier Line piece gets away.

Original Series Tunics and Dresses Available for Pre-Order
By popular demand, we are taking orders for the STAR TREK™ Original Series Dresses and
Tunics until April 15, 2012 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
As with our previous TOS tunics and dresses, we offer a select variety of ranks — or the ability to buy a uniform with the braid separate for those who wish to customize their uniform.
Expected fulfillment of orders from this current ordering window, as well as our previous ordering window, will begin in late May 2012. Having said this, we do have select stock (certain sizes only) on the Lt. Uhura style red dress, the Captain Kirk style tunics (except Mediums), Spock style tunics, the Blue Science dress (Lieutenant style), and the standard “Seasoned Red Shirt” tunic with Lieutenant braid.
Battlestar Galactica™ Patches!
The April 2012 BATTLESTAR GALACTICA™ patch release is still available to purchase, until we launch the previously-unproduced 9th Headhunters patch on May 1, 2012!
This month saw the release of the 8th Squadron: Red Aces (Aces ‘n Eights) patch from
The Red Aces patch is priced at $34.95 USD for club members ($44.95 USD for non-club members), and will be available at that price until April 1, 2012.
The ever-so-popular Battlestar Pegasus ship patch ($49.95 USD) is still available, and is made from the fabric used for the Battlestar Pegasus ship patches by the production. As this is our quarterly ship patch release, orders for this patch will close on May 1, 2012. At this point, we’ve sold over 80% of our present inventory for this exclusive patch, and we expect to sell out before May 1st.
(Patch club members won’t have to worry, since your reserved patch will be held until the ordering window for this piece closes on May 1, 2012.)
Furthermore, to answer the often-asked question on whether or not previously released patches will be made available for sale again: the good news is that we have re-released these patches as of today. These re-releases will be in addition to new release patches, and will be available for sale as inventory permits.

Battlestar Galactica™ Pins — Orders Opening in June!
The BATTLESTAR GALACTICA™ Insignia Pins will be available to order again on June 1, 2012. These pins are hand-made by the same manufacturer that made these jewelry pieces for production, and are only available for order at certain points of the year.
Do note that existing orders that we haven’t been able to fill yet are going to be filled by late April to mid-May, as the pins are en route for the final stages of inspection, laser engraving and packaging. Please be aware that the estimate provided is subject to change for any reason.
Having said that, we may have certain pins in our overstock, and should you be looking to get them before June, we advise that you contact us to put yourself (including the names of the pins that you’re looking to obtain) on our waiting list. Once all existing orders have been satisfied, we will contact people on our waiting list should the pin or pins desired be available for purchase.
Battlestar Galactica™ Double Tanks — Orders Opening in Mid-June!
We have received — and continue to receive — an overwhelming amount of questions about when the BATTLESTAR GALACTICA™ Double Tanks will be available for pre-order again.
The good news is that we expect to have stock on this product in mid-June of this year, and that we expect to open the ordering window around that time, as well.
We have opened up a waiting list for this product, and so if you are interested, you are welcome to e-mail us so we can notify you as soon as they become available. Make sure to put DOUBLE TANK WAITING LIST in the subject line, and specify how many tanks you’d be interested in ordering, along with their sizes according to the Double Tank sizing chart on our website.
