Lakeshore Records is set to release 
The Dragon Prince: Mystery of Aaravos, Seasons 6&7—A Netflix Series Soundtrack digitally on December 20 featuring original music by Emmy®Award-winning composer Frederik Wiedmann (Star Trek: Picard 3). As The Mystery of Aaravos reaches its epic conclusion with season 7, Wiedmann’s signature orchestral score elevates every aspect of the characters’ perilous journey over 69 tracks. Created and produced by Wonderstorm, Seasons 1-7 of the critically acclaimed Emmy· Award-winning animated series are currently streaming on Netflix.

About Season 7
As Aaravos and Claudia seek to destroy the cosmic order and invert life and death, our heroes must literally be ready to sacrifice anything and everything they love and believe in to save the world! This season will be more thrilling, magical, and heartbreaking than ever.
The series features the voices of Jack DeSena as Callum, Paula Burrows as Rayla, Sasha Rojen as Ezran, Jason Simpson as Viren, Racquel Belmonte as Claudia, Jesse Inocalla as Soren, Benjamin Callins as Terry, Rena Anakwe as Janai, and Erik Todd Dellums as Aaravos.
Notes Wiedmann: “Scoring The Dragon Prince has been an absolute highlight for me, starting from Season 1 many years ago to now Season 7. Needless to say, a lot has happened to our beloved characters and their lives in Xadia. Designing the musical score around these events, through the moments filled with levity and laughter, to the most heartbreaking and tragic storylines, was a great challenge. Working on a show like this one for an extended period of time provides a phenomenal canvas for me as a composer to really develop thematic material to its fullest, which is a true joy. In these last 2 seasons, I think you will hear the most threatening version of the Aaravos theme, the most beautiful version of Rayla’s melody, and the most badass music for young King Ezran. ABOUT FREDERIK WIEDMANN
Emmy Award-winning Frederik Wiedmann is one of the most diverse and cultivated composers working in motion pictures today. With over 150 titles to his name in all realms and genres, Wiedmann has established himself as an insightful artist with an enduring passion for storytelling.
Recently, Wiedmann composed music for Star Trek: Picard (Season 3) for Paramount+, and Women is Losers starring Simu Liu, which premiered at SXWX in early 2021. Some of his other recent credits include the thriller Alone (starring Donald Sutherland and Tyler Posey), Hangman (directed by Johnny Martin, starring Al Pacino, Karl Urban, Brittany Snow), Millennium Films’s Acts of Vengeance (featuring Antonio Banderas, Paz Vega and Karl Urban), and Day of the Dead: Bloodline (starring Sophie Skelton and Johnathon Schaech). His credits also include Universal’s Doom – Annihilation as well as the epic civil war drama Field of Lost Shoes (directed by Sean McNamara), Paul Schrader’s feature Dying of the Light, The Damned, Blumhouse’s hit horror anthology “Into The Dark” (for Hulu), and the Australian Sci-Fi hit “Occupation: Rainfall” (2021).
Wiedmann is the composer behind the hit Nickelodeon show Big Nate as well as the critically acclaimed Netflix animated fantasy series The Dragon Prince, which is from the writer of the popular series Avatar: The Last Airbender, and for which he earned an Emmy nomination in the original score category. In 2016, he won a Daytime Emmy Award in the category of “Outstanding Original Song” alongside lyricist Mitch Watson, for the song “True Bromance” from Dreamworks Animation’s Madagascar spinoff All Hail King Julien.
Wiedmann has been a mainstay in the DC cinematic universe, starting with his work on Green Lantern: The Animated Series, for which he earned two consecutive Annie Awards nominations. His success on the series led to further popular Warner Bros’ DC projects such as, Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, Son of Batman, Death of Superman, Justice League: Gods and Monsters, and Batman: Gotham by Gaslight, among others.
He currently lives in LA with his wife and two wonderful children.
