Lakeshore Records is set to release 
Winter Spring Summer or Fall—Original Motion Picture Soundtrack digitally today, April 25 featuring music by composer Zac Rae (AKA the keyboardist, pianist and multi-instrumentalist for Death Cab for Cutie), as well as original songs by singer-songwriter Evangeline. The evocative piano and guitar-based score provides a reflective backdrop to the heady relationship at the core of the film. Directed by Tiffany Paulsen and starring Jenna Ortega and Percy Hynes-White, Winter Spring Summer or Fall is in select theaters and on Digital via Republic Pictures beginning today.
Remi and Barnes, two very different teenagers, meet by chance in the winter of their senior year, then spend four days together over the course of a year that will change their lives forever.
Notes Rae: “When Tiffany approached me to write the score for ‘Winter Spring Summer or Fall’ we immediately agreed on an approach that would integrate into the songs already being used in the movie, with no samples or orchestration used and the score centered on piano and guitars. It felt natural to write music that could easily be part of an album of songs. The story is a classic one but it is told with freshness, warmth, and honesty and I wanted the score to reflect that aesthetic as well.”

ABOUT ZAC RAE
Zac Rae is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer based in Los Angeles. Known for versatility, eclectic instrumentation, and unconventional soundscapes, his playing has been featured on innumerable soundtracks and albums over the past couple of decades. Since 2014 he has been a member of the iconic indie-rock group Death Cab For Cutie; they are currently in the studio working on a new album.
ABOUT EVANGELINE
Born and raised in LA’s San Fernando Valley, singer-songwriter Evangeline blends dreamy vocals with hook-filled, heartfelt indie pop-rock.
In 2023, she released her debut EP Fuzzy, followed by When Demigods Go in Spring 2024. That year, she collaborated with Vulfpeck’s Vulfmon on multiple singles, including Got To Be Mine, which was featured in Infiniti’s National Fall 2024 commercial campaign. Four of her original songs appear in Winter Spring Summer or Fall, including What Are You Doing Later, the lead single from her debut album, due Fall 2025.
This summer, she’s due to perform at Newport Folk Festival, as well as a slew of headlining shows TBA.
