Lakeshore Records is set to release 
Untamed—Soundtrack from the Netflix Series with an original score by Emmy Award-winning composer Jeff Russo (Alien: Earth, Ripley). The melodic, moody, and atmospheric music underscores the dark crime committed and the inner turmoil of the main characters playing out in the vast wilderness of Yosemite.
The first season of the series is executive produced by Mark L. Smith and Elle Smith who also serve as co-showrunners. Eric Bana is also an executive producer alongside John Wells and Erin Jontow via John Wells Productions, Cliff Roberts for Syndicate Entertainment, Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Tony Shaw, and Steve Tisch for Escape Artists Entertainment, Steve Lee Jones for Bee Holder Productions, and Thomas Bezucha. Warner Bros. Television is the studio. The first season is streaming now on Netflix.
A character-driven mystery-thriller that follows Kyle Turner (played by Bana), a special agent for the National Parks Service who works to enforce human law in nature’s vast wilderness. The investigation of a brutal death sends him on a collision course with the dark secrets within the park, and in his own past.
Notes Russo: “The soundtrack for Untamed was an interesting mix of subtle tension, melody and open air which was really interesting to make. The performances made the musical narrative a breeze to weave in.”

In addition to composing music for film and television, Russo is a founding member, lead guitarist and co-songwriter of two-time Grammy nominated, multi-platinum selling rock band, Tonic. Their debut album, Lemon Parade, posted three singles in the U.S. Mainstream rock charts’ Top 10 with “If You Could Only See” rocketing to number one. In 2003, the band received two Grammy nominations, one for “Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal” for “Take Me as I Am”, and one for “Best Rock Album.” Russo also received a BAFTA nomination for Best Music for Annapurna Interactive’s video game, What Remains of Edith Finch.
