Fans of Electric Entertainment’s
hit series “The Ark” will soon be able to journey across interplanetary dimensions through the music of their favorite sci-fi show. The original soundtrack, featuring songs from all 24 episodes across both seasons, will be available for purchase. Composed by Fred Coury (“Almost Paradise,” “The Night Shift”), the album includes 42 tracks and was released by Lakeshore Records on October 10, 2025.
Dean Devlin, executive producer and co-showrunner of “The Ark,” states, “Music is an integral part of every story we tell on screen—whether it’s a film on the big screen or a series on your TV. Fred Coury’s work brought our story to life. His talent, combined with his deep understanding of both the material and the world we created in ‘The Ark’, helped shape not only the mood of the series but also the rhythm of its plot. His compositions blended seamlessly into the narrative, and now our fans can experience his music beyond the series—whether in the car, on a train, at dinner, or anywhere they choose.”
Airing on SYFY and available to stream on the ElectricNOW app, “The Ark” takes place 100 years in the future when planetary colonization missions have begun as a necessity to help secure the survival of the human race. The first of these missions on a spacecraft known as Ark One encounters a catastrophic event, causing massive destruction and loss of life. With more than a year left to go before reaching their target planet, a lack of life-sustaining supplies and loss of leadership, the remaining crew must become the best versions of themselves to stay on course and survive. The series stars Christie Burke, Richard Fleeshman, Reece Ritchie, Stacey Read, and Ryan Adams.
The third season of “The Ark” is slated to run on SYFY in 2026.
